POSITION: Accessories Designer
LOCATION: West Hollywood, CA

DUTIES: Design and manufacture handcrafted handbag and accessory lines for
hospital patients, with a particular focus in leather handbags and
accessories. Sketch designs, manufacture handbag products, and provide
trend reports on colors, fabrics, and shapes; prototyping, creating patterns
and samples, and participating in each stage of product design; Examine
sample garments on and off models, modifying designs to achieve desired
effects; Confer with sales and management executives or with clients to
discuss design ideas.

REQUIREMENTS: Requires three (3) years of experience as a Leather Craftsperson,
Handbag/ Maroquinerie Artisan, or related position. Experience must
include handbag restoration, pearling, hand-stitching leather handbags,
hemstitching, cleaning leather handbags, fabricating handbags from start
to finish, and experience working with bags crafted from crocodile, lizard,
and ostrich skin.
